Shillong Teer is an archery game in which people bet their money to be rewarded. The game has a massive audience in Meghalaya and some neighboring states of Meghalaya. Nowadays, the internet and technology have made this game fully available to everyone and everywhere.
This game used to be a traditional game of the Khasi community to demonstrate their skill level with bows and arrows. It was one of the primary weapons in the past. This game used to be competitive and a field where you could earn your respect with your skills but with time, this game evolved, and people started to put money on the shooters.’
How Does Shillong Teer Game Work?
The Teer game is played six days a week, Monday through Saturday, and Sunday is off.
There are two rounds in this game: the first and the second. In the first round, 50 archers shoot with 30 arrows each, and in the second round, the same 50 shooters shoot with 20 arrows each. The first-round results are released at 4:00 p.m., and the second-round results are released at 5:00 p.m. The timing changes with the seasons, summer and winter.
How Shillong Teer Live Results are Listed?
As I mentioned there are two rounds of Shillong Teer game. First Round and Second Round.
In both rounds, archers shoot arrows at a particular target 50 shooters shoot arrows in both rounds with 30-20 arrows each. The last two digits of the target hitting arrows are considered the final result.
For better understanding: In the first round, 50 archers take aim at the target with 30 arrows each, a total of 1,500 arrows. Out of that let’s assume 877 arrows hitting the target. So, the result will be 77. Because the last two digits are taken as final result.
