The number of arrows hitting the target determines the outcome of the result. In the game of Shillong Teer, the results always appear in two digits. The last two digits of the target-hitting arrows listed as the final result for that round.
Let’s understand with an example:
Let us assume it’s the first round of the game and all 50 skilled archers are ready with 30 arrows each. There are 50 archers with 30 arrows each, which means there are a total of 1,500 arrows to shoot. After shooting out of all the arrows suppose, 983 actually hit the target and the rest missed. So, the result of that round will be 83 (the last two digits of the total hits, regarded as the final result). This is the actual process of determining the result in Shillong Teer.
How You Make Money in Shillong Teer?
There are 100 numbers in this game, from 0 to 99. This means there are 100 possibilities of results. In both the first and second rounds, first thing you do is choose numbers, next bet your money on those numbers. If that number hits success, you will rewarded with Rs 80 with each Rs 1 you invest.
Let’s understand with an example:
Let’s assume that out of 100 numbers, you choose 93, 57, and 31 as your target numbers according to your calculations. After that, you put Rs 200 on each of the three numbers. When the results came out, you saw your prediction was correct and that number 57 was successful. Now, as a return on your investment, you will receive Rs 16,000 because you paid Rs 200 for each of the three numbers. (Remember I mentioned that if you invest Rs 1, then in return you will receive Rs 80 as your return on your bet.)

There is no exact data on when this game started. Archery has no doubt been going on for a very long time; it has great significance in Khasi traditions. The name ‘Teer’ indeed means arrows. In the past, bows and arrows used to be one of the prime weapons of the Khasi Tribe. Archery is a sport that connected to Khasi traditions and culture.
